EMERGENCY crews were called to a barn fire near Berkeley yesterday evening, officers have been on site this morning assessing the damage.
Three crews from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the farm in Clapton at 10.30pm where a storage barn housing straw chemicals and vehicles were ablaze.
The large building at Woodlands Farm is believed to have housed four tonnes of straw as well as fertiliser, cars and tractors.
Crews from Dursley and Wotton under Edge attended the incident, which is understood to have been contained in the barn.
Officers are currently on site assessing the damage and ensuring the flames are fully extinguished.
