A CHARITY dog show is set to take place in Chipping Sodbury next month.
'Grufts', which is taking place at The George Hotel on Sunday, July 1, will see pooches from across the area compete for a chance to win a prize.
Titles up for grabs on the day included Best in Show, Cutest Pup, Prettiest Lady, Handsome Fella, Top Trick, Junior Handler, Golden Oldie and Best Rescue.
The event is being organised by Caroline Wilkinson, of Ruff Hounds Dog Training.
Caroline will have the tough job of judging each category alongside her fellow judges Katie Tovey-Grindlay, of Woof Woof Network, and Penny Warren, of Bristol K9 Massage.
Registration starts at 12.30pm, with the show taking place from 2pm to 4pm.
Entry for each class is £2, with all proceeds going to Nowzad - the only official dog and cat shelter in Afghanistan. Nowzad also runs a veterinary clinic in Kabul.
