Mark Cooper confirmed Forest Green will be making no further permanent signings today.

The Transfer Window is just hours away from closing and the Rovers boss will not be adding to his squad.

"We've packed up, the phone's off and no business to be done," said Cooper.

"We tried to get everything done, certainly from an incoming point of view as early as we could and put ourselves in a position where anything we do will be touching up the squad."

Cooper is also expecting to keep hold of Christian Doidge who has constantly been rumoured with a move away but the FGR boss revealed no concrete offers came in.

"We had Bit and pieces like how much would you want but realistically anyone was going to match our valuation at the moment, Christian's pretty calm about it and he wants to be part of it and be top scorer in league two."

Despite the transfer window shutting today, EFL clubs will still be able to sign players on loan until the end of August and Cooper hasn't ruled out using the loan market.

"Things come available all the time, Premier League clubs say we've got what we want in the window and this player needs to play some games before January and that's what we're waiting for. Certainly there might be a bit of movement going out and maybe one come in but nothing imminent."
