A number of historic vehicles went on display last weekend as part of the Tortworth Vintage Rally.

Classic cars, motorbikes, tractors and military vehicles were all on view on August 11 and 12 at the showground off the B4509 Wickwar.

There was also a flypast by the RAF Red Arrows Display Team made a spectacular sight for all in attendance.

A record number of Saturday visitors also saw stationary engines and miniature steam engines at the 11th annual show.

In the evening tunes were played from the world’s largest travelling concert organ, the 118 key ‘Victory’. The organ played simultaneously alongside a 73 key organ ‘The Locomotion’ and a video screen showing synchronised pictures from classic and modern films.

The organs came all the way from the Netherlands for the event.

Rally coordinator Paul Eden said: "Despite the weather on Sunday we still had a good attendance of classic cars including a number of vehicles from the Five Valleys Mini Club.

"The rain also did not appear to deter the public either and a number of hardy souls turned out to enjoy the exhibits on display and watch the various vehicle parades in the main arena."

The Rally raised money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute and the Royal Air Force Association.
