THIS Sunday, August 19 is this year’s Tetbury Classic Vehicle show in the grounds of Sir William Romney’s School. They will be primarily supporting the children’s charity, Allsorts, who help children with disabilities or additional needs, and to their families.

They are a vital local resource. Last year managed to distribute nearly £2,500 in funds to Allsorts, the school, the Guides and to Tetbury Lions for their able assistance.

The show now boasts the attendance of many hundreds of classic vehicles, bikes and bicycles, lots of interesting stands and new car franchises thanks to help from main sponsor “Classic Tracks” .

THE next Tetbury and District Footpath Group Walk will be on Tuesday, August 21,meeting at The Goods Shed at 2pm. This walk will be taking in The Folly, Monarch’s Way, Addy’s Firs, Ashley, Little Larkhill, return along the old rail track, Length: 5.5 m, Level A/B. TETBURY Town Council will be entering Tetbury Town Centre into the Great British High Street Awards.There are two categories either the Champion High Street or the Rising Star.

MEET novelist Patrick Gale, author of “Take Nothing With You” on Friday August 31 at Tetbury’s Goods Shed. Patrick is appearing at the Tetbury Goods Shed in association with the Yellow Lighted Book Shop to talk about his work on Friday, August 31 from 7.30pm.
