A man has died after crashing into a ditch near Pucklechurch.
Police, ambulance and fire services all attended the scene of the collision this morning (Thursday, August 16).
The vehicle, the only one involved in the incident, went in to a roadside ditch on Bottoms Farm Lane, Doynton at the junction of High Street and Mill Street.
A spokeswoman for South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 06:49 to reports of a road traffic collision. We attended with HART (Hazardous Area Response Team), an air ambulance, two rapid response vehicles, an operations officer and an ambulance.
Treatment was provided at the scene but the driver died shortly afterwards.
Avon and Somerset Police also attended the scene at 7am and Avon Fire and Rescue Service were called at 7.01am. Two fire crews from Kingswood attended the incident.
The casualty had already been freed from the vehicle when they arrived but crews assisted with medical help.
