CRAZYBIRD Comedy Club and The Malthouse Bar and Kitchen will be teaming up again next Thursday to bring Stroud a night of fantastic comedy and tantalising food.

Delicious food from the Malthouse menu will be served between 5-7.30pm before it gives way to four professional comedians from the UK & International comedy circuit.

MC for the evening will be fresh faced funny man Matt Green.

Matt has been performing stand-up comedy since 2003, and has appeared at venues all over the UK and across the world.

His act is a mixture of high energy observational and topical jokes combined with more personal stories and anecdotes.

He is a highly experienced compere and is excellent at audience interaction. So sit tight Stroud!

Opening act for the evening is Canadian David Tsonos.

His comedy stems from everyday life that all can relate to, from living with his cat to being a Canadian living in the UK.

Packing the middle section is versatile Rob Coleman.

Equally at home telling beautifully written gags or bantering with the audience, Rob is an established semi-pro comic. Primarily a gag based act but is very comfortable working the crowd.

Joining Rob in the middle section is Jake Baker who has been described as 'imaginative and original' by The Scotsman and has also been compared to a young Alan Davies.

Headlining this stunning line up is the fantastic Roger Monkhouse.

Roger is one of the most original and distinctive acts on the comedy scene.

A consummate stand-up who employs a deadly combination of charm and menace to exert a masterful control over any audience.

The highly original and quirky performer's trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit.

Distinguished as a comic by his eloquence and keen eye for a fine phrase, Roger's easy observational style is spiked by the signal flares of an accomplished gag writer.

As one of the most sought after acts on the comedy circuit, Roger headlines at all the major comedy venues and has performed extensively throughout the United Kingdom and internationally.

Over 18s only, tickets £12.50 plus booking fee.
