EMERGENCY services were called to a suspected acid attack in Thornbury yesterday morning.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called at 5.45am to Cooper Road in Thornbury following a report of a man having a liquid thrown over him.
"The victim was taken to hospital where it was determined the substance was not acid and he was discharged shortly afterwards with no significant injuries.”
