Brass Bands England are holding a training event at Turnberrie's Community Centre
Brass Bands England are to hold the first of their artistic development sessions in Thornbury.
Philip Harper, musical director of Cory Band, will be leading the session at Turnberrie's Community Centre on Saturday, September 29.
The new training programme is aimed to encourage conductors and band leaders to be more innovative and creative as well as challenging them to think about how their bands can become more resilient and relevant to audiences.
Tickets are priced at £5 for BBE members and £15 for non-members and include the price of a buffet lunch.
