There was family fun had by all at the annual Tockington Harvest Show.
Held on Tockington Village Green on Saturday, September 15, the show brought large crowds into the village.
The free show was opened by Reverend Simon Edwards from Olveston and Tockington Methodist Church. Emily Johnstone, 14, was crowned this year’s Tockington Harvest Queen and there was also a children’s fancy dress parade.
Live music was performed by saxaphone quartet iSax.
A variety of stalls included bric a brac, crafts, children’s games and a toy tombola ran by 1st Alveston Rainbows.
Other attractions were a children’s dance show performance, Zumba, and a pet’s corner.
Homemade tea and cake was also served at the show.
The first harvest fayre was held on Tockington Green in 1969 but there have been fairs there from the mid-14th century.
