Residents of a number of roads in Yate have come together to raise money for charity.
Homeowners from Walton Heath, St Andrews and Estoril all participated in a coffee morning to raise money for St Peter's Hospice.
What made the event all the more special was the fact it was held in amongst the communal garages at at the road, not too far from Yate Shopping Centre.
The residents all baked cakes and supplied raffle prizes that helped raise £300 on the day.
All the organisers of the event were pleased with how it was supported.
"The event was very well attended, with a big thank you to all the cake bakers, and to the "man" power who set everything up," Janet and Nancy said.
"All together we have been able to raise £300 for St Peters Hospice."
