Vue Bristol Cribbs Causeway is celebrating its twentieth anniversary.

The twelve-screen venue has been part of the Cribbs Causeway entertainment and leisure offering since September 1998.

Jack Lopresti, MP for Filton and Bradley Stoke, cut a cake with staff from the venue to celebrate the milestone.

“It was great to celebrate 20 years of cinematic greats being shown at Vue, Cribbs Causeway.

"I have watched many films here over the years, and look forward to watching many more.

"It has become the focus of the entertainment hub in Cribbs Causeway and continues to provide excellent enjoyment for all ages,” he said.

The venue has seen millions of movie fans come through the doors since opening.

In 2017 it underwent a refurbishment and now offers hot food and a bar service to customers.

Alex Kardoun, general manager at Vue Cribbs Causeway, said: “It’s incredible to mark such a significant milestone and it’s been a great twenty years.

"The team and I love welcoming people to enjoy the best in big screen entertainment.

“With lots more fantastic films coming over the rest of 2018, there’s something for everyone to come and enjoy with us.”
