Yate Heritage Centre in Yate hosted its annual International Festival day last weekend.
Big crowds turned out for the event at the centre, as many groups from around the area put on performances throughout the day.
One of the organisers and Yate Heritage Centre manager David Hardill revealed that the festival had again exceeded expectations.
"We had a fantastic day on Saturday at the International Festival recording 1297 visitors," he said.
"There was an amazing atmosphere with a wide range of cultural performers, activities and food.
"Over the years we have always had some new acts and the regulars have got better and better.
"The are getting good at working the crowd and inducing audience participation as well.
"There is always a wonderful atmosphere at this event. The African dancing, and Indian drums are always get the audience going."
