Traffic has been released on the Prince of Wales bridge after a car towing a caravan caught fire.
Officers from Temple and Avonmouth stations are at the scene of the incident between junctions 22 and 23 on the westbound carriageway.
Traffic had been held but has now been released and all lanes are open again.
