Police and fire crews were called to Old Down this morning (Wednesday) after a car caught fire.
Crews from Thornbury Fire Station attended the scene on Old Down Hill shortly before 9.15am.
A spokesperson for Avon Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival, firefighters found a car well alight.
"Firefighters used one breathing apparatus for safety, and two high pressure hose reels to extinguish the fire.
"Police were also in attendance and the cause is thought to be accidental."
