WWT Slimbridge has been named the best family attraction across two counties.
The wetland centre beat off competition from the likes of Cattle Country Farm Park, Cotswold Canoe Hire, Cob House Country Park and Aztec Adventure to be named the best in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire at the Muddy Stilettos 2021 Awards.
In June Slimbridge were nominated in the family attraction category, before making it to the finals and winning on July 29.
The award comes as WWT Slimbridge celebrate their 75th anniversary.
More than 250,000 people visit the reserve, which features birds from all over the world, every year.
