PREPARATIONS are underway for this weekend's Chipping Sodbury Festival.
The festival runs from Friday, June 9 to Saturday, June 17.
This year's theme will be set by the Chipping Sodbury Yacht Club who are celebrating 40 years.
Festival chair Kate Cox said:"We look forward to hearing many a seafaring tale of their lives on the high seas.
"June is the month when traditionally this thriving market town joins together to showcase the community initiative that is the Chipping Sodbury Festival.
"Staging over 30 events, many free of any charge, there really is something for everyone in the programme this year.
"None of this would be possible without the continuing support of the shops, businesses, charities, councils and other organisations in the town and surrounding areas."
