TO MARK national cinema day, hundreds of cinemas across the area are coming together to offer cheap tickets.
Participating cinemas are offering tickets to all screenings from just £3.
Wotton
Among them, the independent Electric Picture House Cinema in Wotton, which is offering a choice of three films across the day.
Visitors have a choice from Disney’s animated classic Peter Pan at 11am, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem at 2pm and classic martial arts thriller Enter the Dragon at 7.30pm.

Similar schemes are also running in Vue Stroud and Cineworld Cinema in Yate.
Yate
Showings in Yate on Saturday includes Barbie, The Equalizer 3, Oppenheimer, Jurassic Park and Elemental.
Tickets are also £3 all day for all films, including special formats – IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX and Superscreen.

Stroud
Films showing on Saturday in Stroud as part of the deal include horror Cobweb plus iconic summer films Barbie and Oppenheimer.
Callum Jackson, general manager of Stroud said: “Nothing quite compares to seeing a film on the big screen, which is why we’re thrilled to see the experience celebrated with National Cinema Day.
“We hope as many people as possible take part in the occasion and remind themselves of the joy of the big screen experience. There really is no other way to completely immerse yourself in brilliant stories than on the big screen and when better than on National Cinema Day for just £3 a ticket.”
