A DRINK driver from Stroud who was more than three times the limit has been banned.
Julian Preston, aged 44, was caught at Tiltups End near Horsley driving a Vauxhall Corsa on January 17 having consumed 125 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the limit is 35.
Preston, of Cheapside, Stroud, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Wednesday, April 10.
He was ordered to pay a £114 surcharge plus £85 in costs - a total of £199 - and was banned from driving for 30 months.
