PERSISTENT bad weather has caused minor flooding on roads around the county and with more rain predicted the council is out in force trying to minimise the problems.
Heavy rain that fell yesterday and continued on into today has caused disruptions on the roads in Gloucestershire.
Some standing water is on the roads around Berkeley although it can be driven through with care.
Anybody who wants advice about the county’s roads should call 08000 514 514.
Residents are advised not to call the Fire Service unless there is an emergency, in which case they should ring 999.
Householders are advised to call the Environment Agency’s Floodline on 0845 988 1188 or visit their website www.environment-agency.gov.uk for advice.
