THORNBURY residents could be left cowering behind the sofa as cult television show Dr Who makes a visit to the town.
Later this month thanks to local school children shoppers to the St Mary Centre might catch a glimpse of daleks, cybermen or perhaps even the Tardis.
The display of all things Dr Who is a special art exhibition being held as part of the Thornbury Arts Festival.
During the last few months children from across Thornbury have been creating Dr Who themed art work to go on show in the St Mary Centre from Friday, April 17 to Saturday, April 25.
The art exhibition will coincide with a special lecture on the science of Dr Who that is being given in the Armstrong Hall on Saturday, April 18 (10.30am).
On the same day in the St Mary Centre there are also children’s art workshops with a Dr Who theme. These workshops are free and for children aged 7 to 11 years old.
