Vandals cause hundreds of pounds of damage to shopping centre

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after vandals caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage to the St Mary Shopping Centre in Thornbury.

Officers are hunting for two men who ripped a bin from the mountings of a wall in the centre at 2.30am on Sunday, June 7.

The criminal damage they caused will cost £250 to repair.

The first man is described as white, with a shaved head and of medium build. He is believed to be in his mid-20s and was wearing a black T-shirt with a yellow or orange motif and blue jeans.

The second man was also white, of medium build and in his mid to late 20s. He had dark hair and was wearing a white T-shirt and black trousers.
