A MEMORIAL bench placed in Rockhampton Cricket Ground has been stolen.
Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident that occurred overnight from July 3 to 4 at the cricket ground in Rockhampton, near Berkeley.
A three seater teak bench, which had a brass plate in memory of Bob Weaver on it was stolen, along with an A-shaped garden table and one other bench.
PC Stephanie Mitchell, from Staple Hill Police Station, said: "It is quite possible that someone may have seen people moving the bench into their house or it might be for sale somewhere."
