A W.I. member and local celebrity who turned down £67,000 to pose naked after leaving the Big Brother house has agreed to bare all to raise money for charity.

Lesley Brain, 63, was offered no money for the photo shoot this time, but still decided to pose naked to raise money for the Cotswold Care Hospice.

Mrs Brain, of Tetbury, who caused a stir by appearing in Big Brother then walking out 10 days later because she was so bored, agreed to the Calendar Girl look in a poster to support the hospice, near Minchinhampton.

The poster, with a photo of Mrs Brain naked and covered by a cleverly placed chair, includes the slogan "Lesley Brain gave the Cotswold Care Hospice the clothes off her back – literally. What can you do to help?"

Mrs Brain said: "It is an unwritten BB tradition that female housemates strip off for the media when they leave the house.

"A price war of sorts culminated in an offer of £67,000 for a nude photo shoot."

She declined the offer but when Cotswold Care asked her to be their poster girl for the opening of their new charity shop in Tetbury she had a change of heart.

While the photo is a bit of fun, Marcus Green, chief executive of Cotswold Care Hospice said the campaign had a very serious message.

"We are thrilled that Lesley did this for us and are so grateful for her support," said Mr Green.

"While it is a light-hearted campaign, what we do is very important and we need the support of the community."
