A TEENAGER from the Thornbury area has died after her car collided with a wall in the early hours of this morning.
Police say the 18-year-old girl, believed to be a Castle School pupil, was driving her Peugeot 206 along Cuttsheath Road towards the A38 at Milbury Heath, when the accident happened at 1am.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We were called just before 1am this morning, Friday, March 19, to reports of a one vehicle road traffic collision.
"The vehicle was in collision with a wall.
"The female driver of the vehicle was taken to Frenchay Hospital but was later pronounced dead."
Police have said there were no passengers in the car and no one else was hurt in the accident.
