PUPILS past and present, along with parents and Wickwar residents, came together to enjoy a ‘ye olde’ day of village events.
The Ye Olde Village Fair, held at Alexander Hosea Primary, was hailed a great success with £2,600 raised for the school.
Visitors enjoyed old fashioned games, a horticultural show, shopping and food.
Head teacher Valerie Quest said some of the money raised would go towards extra ICT resources at the school.
"It is a wonderful amount to raise and we really value the contributions by the village and the PTA," said Ms Quest.
"It was a very good day, lots of people turned up or got involved."
