POLICE in Dursley are appealing to any member of the public who might have witnessed a man being verbally abused.
The incident happened between 12.30pm and 12.45pm on Monday, January 23.
A 23-year-old man was in the area getting into his vehicle when a man shouted at him from the other side of the road, he then approached the car and leaned into the victim’s car and was verbally abusive towards him before walking into the newsagents opposite.
The man was described as white, aged between 19 and 21, around 5ft 10" tall, of slim build and with "dirty looking" short blonde hair. He was wearing a blue top and was also described as having a "rot mark" on his front upper teeth, which were slightly protruding.
The offender had a brown pit-bull type dog with him at the time offence.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard the incident and ask that witnesses contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 185 of January 23, or call Crimestopper, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
