A MAN has been arrested after a motorbike and quad bike were recovered from a field in Tortworth.
The quad bike and Piaggio motorbike were found in the early hours of Thursday, February 16 after officers from Gloucestershire Constabulary used police dogs to search several miles worth of fields.
The search was initiated after a Suzuki quad bike was stolen from a secure barn on Bristol Road in Cam.
During the search officers were led to a remote field in Tortworth where they found a quad bike and a motorbike, which had been stolen from an address in Thornbury.
An 18-year-old man from Thornbury has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and bailed to return to the police station on May 25, pending further enquiries.
Police continue to appeal to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the Cam, Tortworth and Huntingford areas on the morning of Thursday, February 16 to contact Gloucestershire Police by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 45 of February 16.
