AN EARLY morning fire in Yate is being treated as suspicious.
Fire crews were called to the business premises on Station Road, Yate at 1am this morning, Thursday, April 12.
Avon Fire and Rescue sent two appliances from Yate Fire Station after receiving a call from police.
A spokesman said: "The call came in from the police but the police had put the fire out before crews arrived using extinguishers."
A fire investigation officer later attended the scene. Avon and Somerset Police has said the fire is being treated as suspicious.
* Avon and Somerset Police have arrested four people, two men and two women, on suspicion of arson. They continue to be questioned by officers.
