POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an incident of criminal damage in Dursley.

According to police two men, a driver and a pedestrian, had a verbal altercation regarding parking. It is alleged the pedestrian then kicked the driver’s car causing damage to the handle on the rear passenger door before heading off in the direction of Blackboys.

The incident happened at around 1pm on Monday, April 9 on Kingshill Parade.

The pedestrian is described as white, aged in his mid to late 20s and around 6ft tall with dark hair, which was straight and neck length. He was wearing thin rimmed glasses, a dark coloured knee-length raincoat, dark trousers and trainers. He was also pushing a grey pushchair and was with a young child, aged around 4 or 5 years old.

Officers would like to speak to this man and have also appealed for witnesses to the incident to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 272 of April 10, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
