A FLOWER festival to commemorate the First World War will take place in October.
The event will span across three days, from October 4 to 6, between 10am and 5pm, at the Church of St Mary the Virgin, in Hawkesbury.
Arrangements, though varied, will be linked by the same theme, evoking poems, songs and readings from the First World War.
Other events at the church include a musical preview evening on October 3 at 7pm, with tickets costing £7.50 including light refreshments.
There will also be a communion service for peace and reconciliation held on Sunday, October 5, at 5.30pm.
For further details, or to book tickets for the musical preview evening, call 01454 238553 or 01454 238508.
