A MAN was killed after being struck by a train at Cam and Dursley railway station.
A man was hit by a train at the station at about 1pm on Saturday, October 11.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “Officers from BTP and Gloucestershire Police were called to Cam & Dursley railway station in Gloucestershire on Saturday, October 11, after a report that a person had been struck by a train.
“The body of an as-yet-unidentified man was located at the scene with injuries consistent with being struck by a train. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident, which was reported to BTP at 1.10pm, is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
“Enquiries are also ongoing to establish the man’s identity and contact his next of kin.
“A file will be prepared for the Coroner.”
