STALLHOLDERS showcased everything ‘Made in Berkeley’ at their town Christmas fair.

Berkeley town hall hosted its ‘Made in Berkeley’ fair on Saturday, November 15 bringing together 19 stalls selling locally made gifts and artworks.

Visitors were showcased the talents of residents with stalls selling various crafts including cards, jewellery, textiles, decorations and Christmas wreaths made from recycled material.

Organiser from Tomato Jacks Art Studio, Angela Williams, said: “It was a very busy and successful fair, many people who came along said the town was buzzing from it.

“We set up fairs like this as a community based event and we have done for the past three years. This year we had too many stalls to fit in the town hall in the end so we had an open studio outside to fit more in.

“We had a glass fusing stall this year which made it a bit different too. There was a real mix of talent showcasing what we have to offer in Berkeley.”

The Berkeley Scouts attended the fair and ran a raffle to raise funds for their group, with gifts donated by the fair stallholders.

Mrs Williams said: “We have quite a reputation for the fair and will definitely do it again next year.”
