POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car crash in Cam in which one of the drivers took off in the direction of Gloucester.

The collision occurred at about 11.40am on Friday, February 6, on the High Street, when a vehicle, believed to be a silver Vauxhall Astra Club, collided with a Renault Trafic. The Vauxhall then made off in the direction of Gloucester.

The driver of the Vauxhall is described as male, of stocky build, with short blond hair, in his 30s and wearing a high-visibility jacket.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information about it is asked to contact 101 quoting Incident number 153 of February 6.
