A COMMUNITY group in Dursley are on the lookout for volunteers to help them at a garden event.
Transition Cam and Dursley are to hold a Garden Action Day on Saturday at the Secret Garden behind the Chantry Centre in Long Street.
Those that join the team will help make and plant a number of raised bed trugs - a kind of shallow hanging basket. In fitting with true Transition style, these are to be made entirely from recycled pallets kindly donated by local companies.
With that in place, the group now urgently need a band of willing volunteers with hammers, saws, tape measures and wrecking bars.
There will be cakes and refreshments for all volunteers.
