FIVE people will appear at Bristol Crown Court today in connection with the death of teenager Becky Watts.

Her stepbrother Nathan Matthews, 28, of Hazelbury Drive, Warmley, will appear via videolink in front of Judge Neil Ford QC, charged with the murder of the 16 year old.

His girlfriend Shauna Hoare, also known by the surname Phillips, 21, of Cotton Mill Lane, will also appear by videolink as she faces charges of peverting the course of justice. 

Karl Demetrius, 29, and his partner Jaydene Parsons, 23, both of Barton Court and James Ireland, 23, of Richmond Villas in Avonmouth will be placed in front of the same judge for preliminary hearings. They face charges of assisting an offender by concealing body parts.

Becky from St George was last seen at her home on Thursday, February 19. Police officers and members of the public conducted a large search for the missing schoolgirl.

Parts of her body were found 11 days later.
