POLICE in Tredworth are appealing for information after a woman was robbed of her bike in the area.
The 38-year-old victim was cycling on a black and white Kona mountain bike, worth hundreds of pounds, on Tredworth Road at 3.45pm on Monday (13 April) when two men approached her on foot.
One of the men demanded that the woman get off the bike, swore at her and threatened her with violence before grabbing her by her clothes and using force to pull her from the bike.
He then made off with the bike with the other man and a man parked in a nearby green Ford Fiesta.
The main offender, who it is believed was referred to as "Ross" during the incident, is described as white, 6ft tall, in his early 20s and with tribal band tattoos and black lettering on both arms. He was wearing a grey vest top and three quarter length shorts.
Officers are urging anyone who has any information, recognises the description of the offender or has seen the stolen bike (pictured) since the robbery to call 101 and quote incident 321 of 13 April.
