PEOPLE in and around Dursley will have the opportunity to see there parliamentary candidates battle it out in a hustings event just two days before the election. The event is to be held in Dursley Tabernacle URC, in Parsonage Street, on Tuesday May 5, at 7.30pm. The event will be chaired by the Rev Simon Helme. The topics covered in the evening are to be selected by the public, who are invited to hand in their questions at the door. Subjects for debate and discussion will be selected from these questions during the evening. The hustings is organised by Churches Together in Cam, Dursley and District.
