POLICE are appealing again for information to trace missing Lydney man Stephen Midwinter.
Mr Midwinter, 64, who suffers from memory problems, was reported missing on Friday, May 8, when it is believed he left home on his dark racing-style bike.
He is described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall and scruffy-looking, with long, 'scraggly' greying hair and a grey beard. It is believed he is wearing a blue jacket, cream jumper and dark jeans.
He was last sighted riding his bike from Newland towards the Orepool Inn on the Chepstow Road yesterday on Thursday May, 21.
While Mr Midwinter has been seen several times since the original missing report was made officers are particularly concerned for him as he is carrying very little money and struggles to communicate.
He may require medical assistance and the authorities need to make contact with him to ensure he is okay.
Anyone who thinks they have seen him is urged to call 101 or 999 if appropriate straight away, quoting incident 418 of 8 May.
