GLOUCESTERSHIRE Police have confirmed that the 15 year old boy who was found hanging from a tree in Cheltenham on Thursday, May 21 died on Sunday (May 24).
He has been named as Adam Tharia, from Cheltenham. The Coroner has been informed.
Police have appointed a family liaison officer and are working with Adam's family to provide every possible support.
Although officers are not treating his death as suspicious, police are appealing for anyone with information which may be of help, to contact police without delay on 101, quoting Incident 345 of 21st May.
It is vital that any information available is communicated directly to the police and not circulated among third parties. Police would ask everyone to avoid speculation about the circumstances of the death and to remain sensitive towards the family.
Speaking of Adam, his family said: "Adam was a wonderful son and brother. We will always love him and will miss him so very much."
