POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a cat in the Stroud area was found with a plastic dart embedded in its neck.
The discovery was made by its owner when the animal returned to its home in Randwick last Saturday afternoon (23 May).
The orange-tipped dart, which is believed to have come from a blow gun, was removed by the owner and the cat did not need veterinary treatment. However, officers would like to trace the person(s) responsible the shooting the missile.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 315 of 26 May 2015.
