Judy Selway is the moderator of the Facebook group Lost and Found Pets in Cam/Dursley.

She said: “It’s really caused quite a stir on the Facebook group.

“People just want the driver to come forward and acknowledge what they’ve done and apologise because there’s no closure for this poor lady.

“It’s really dreadful. The woman was left so traumatised she had to stay at a friend’s house last night.”
