THREE people had to be cut from their cars by firefighters following a crash in Gloucestershire.
The fire service received a call to a crash on the Lower Swell to Guiting Power road in Stow on the Wold at around 6pm yesterday.
Initial reports indicated three vehicles involved with a number of persons trapped.
Crews from the Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh fire stations were mobilised with a total of 13 fire-fighters to deal with the incident.
Upon arrival the crews confirmed three vehicles were involved with three persons trapped. Gloucestershire Police and South Western Ambulance Service were also in attendance along with two Air Ambulances.
Fire crews extricated one adult male who was then conveyed to hospital by road ambulance. One adult male and one adult female were also extricated and were then transferred to hospital by the Air Ambulances.
One other adult male, also injured was released from the vehicle prior to the arrival of the fire service.
Crews, police and ambulance remained on scene for sometime.
