A HEARING into the licence applications of two popular drinking establishments in Dursley will take place in the chambers of Stroud District Council today.
The hearing on Capone's nightclub will take place at 10am while the hearing for Ye Olde Dursley Hotel (The Old Bell) will take place at 2pm.
Capone's hopes to keep a closing time of 5am whereas The Old Bell has applied to close at 2am.
Dursley Town Council, in their comments to the district council, have said they think both opening times should be reduced, with The Old Bell closing at 1am and Capone's at 3am.
Should the applications be approved the Gazette understands both establishments will be open the following evening.
