POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman grabbed a handbag belonging to another woman in a high street in Gloucestershire.
The incident happened at around 12.20am today in High Street, Tredworth, when the victim withdrew cash from the Post Office.
She then carried on walking along High Street when her hand bag was grabbed by another woman. The victim tried to keep hold of her hand bag but the offender ran off with it in the direction of Tredworth Junior School.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw a woman of mixed origin, around 5 foot 3, wearing a long white knitted coat. A man wearing a black mac and dark bottoms is thought to have been with her.
The victim sustained minor injuries to her hands as a result of the robbery.
A number of people are believed to have been in the area at the time and police are eager for witnesses to come forward by calling 101 and quoting incident 10 of Tuesday 29 September.
