POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Gloucester, leaving him with minor injuries.
The victim, a 51-year-old man, was walking along India Road just after midnight on Sunday, September 27, when he was approached from behind by another man.
The offender pushed him to the floor and stole the victim’s wallet from his back pocket, which contained around £50 in cash. He then stole the victim’s glasses before running off from the scene. He is described as white, around 5 foot 7, in his 20s and was wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up and a dark coloured scarf across his face.
Anyone who saw a man of this description is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 2 of Sunday 27 September.
