POLICE are appealing for information after a suspicious incident in Churchdown at around 5pm on Monday September 28.
A 15-year-old girl was walking along Pirton Lane when she was approached by a man. The man began shouting abusive language at the girl but made no attempt to touch her. She quickly walked away from the man, who left the scene in the opposite direction.
He is described as Asian, 35 to 45 years old, of a medium build, around 5 foot 9, with a receding hairline.
He was wearing a grey zip up jacket with a pattern on the front, beige trousers and was carrying a brief case style laptop bag over his shoulder.
Anyone who saw a man of this description in the area at the time, or anyone who has other information, is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 434 of Monday 28 September.
