A MOTORCYCLIST has escaped with minor injuries after a crash on the M5 northbound between junctions for Thornbury and Stroud.
The man, a 21-year-old from Bristol, has been taken to hospital.
He pulled over on to the hard shoulder due to a fault with his bike.
When setting off, he clipped a cone and came off the bike but injuries are not serious.
Emergency services were called at around 8am this morning.
All lanes have now re-opened.
