POLICE are appealing for any information after an incident in Gloucester where a 16-year old had his clothes burnt by ignited lighter fluid.
The victim, from Tewkesbury, had been walking along Greyfriars from Southgate Street when he alleges that his path was blocked and he was squirted by lighter fluid which the offender then set alight.
Fortunately no-one was injured during the incident, as the victim was able to put out the flames which only caused superficial damage to his clothing.
The victim could not provide a description of the offender, who left the scene in the direction of Southgate Street.
Anyone who may have seen the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 139 of November 20.
