POLICE are urging residents to be on the look-out for white vans being driven suspiciously after items were removed from driveways and skips.

A number of incidents have been reported to police including one in Cam on Saturday (May 14).

One similar incident happened on Cotwold Green in Stonehouse at about 4pm on Wednesday, May 11.

A white Ford Transit van was seen driving around the area and stopped outside a house with a skip on the driveway. The occupants of the vehicle then began taking items out of the skip.

There have been several similar reported incidents since this; one on Jubilee Close in Cam on May 14 involving the same van; another on Cotswold Green, Stonehouse on the morning of May 16 involving another white van; and a third on Cotswold Green involving a white Ford Transit that was seen late-morning today (May 17)

A similar white transit van has been reported to Police in the Thornbury area driving suspiciously slowly on Tuesday, May 10.

Anyone with information on these incidents or similar are asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress, quoting incident number 350 of May 11.
